  6. After buying DOpus Magellan which finally had
  7. NewIcon support I was amazed that there were no
  8. decent NewIcons supplied with the package. So I
  9. descided to draw some. The ones included were badly
  10. drawn and didnt fit in with the newicon style.
  11.  
  12. These icons are in the NI4 standard with the same colours
  13. and style. There are two icons for many files, one which
  14. ends in an 'S' which are the standard icons, the others
  15. have the Opus logo at the top left hand corner. You can
  16. select which icons you use - i use the ones with the logo.
  17. This is their first release and there are many
  18. improvements which I may make to the archive. I would
  19. like to have an installer which could be run to automatically
  20. update all the icons from MWB to NewIcons!

  23. Particular thanks goes to Aes (NI artist) for his ideas and
  24. suggestions, and all the other people who keep hassling me
  25. to finish and upload the icons!

  27. Coming soon: A complete replacement for all those horrible
  28. MWB ToolBarIcons. I have drawn some great NewIcons which
  29. are the same size as the MWB icons, but are in the NI4 colours
  30. and style. These should be released October '97. The archive
  31. will probably be:

  35. This upload is email-ware. That is if you use it, you are kindly
  36. asked to email the author (cs95abt@brunel.ac.uk) to say how
  37. you are using it, what you think of it, any suggestions you may
  38. have and if you find any errors!

  40. If you have any ideas of work I can do, let me know.
  41. If I get alot of emails then I'll continue to make improvements.
